A Subtle Difference

This morning on Fox News, the Consensus / Split Guy interviewed a couple of people in another typical swing-state diner. The one guy liked Biden, the other liked Palin. The Biden guy talked about why he liked Biden's experience, policy proposals, etc. Formed a real argument, in other words. The Palin guy had this to say (near verbatim):

Oh, I thought it was a great debate....it was just great. Palin was great. She came out and, and everybody was trying to paint her like...like she was a dumb blonde....and she showed she was great.

The weirdest part of all this was that the reporter was walking around with a pot of coffee, topping off people's mugs. Just weird.
